राज्यातील अपघातांचे वाढते प्रमाण हे आज सर्वांच्याच चिंतेचे कारण बनले आहे. लोक त्यावर आपापल्या परीने मार्ग सुचवत आहेत. काहीजण आपल्या परीने मार्ग काढत आहेत. पण ही समस्या सुटण्याची चिन्हे काही दिसत नाहीत. काही स्वयंसेवी संस्था यावर मार्ग काढण्यासाठी धडपडत आहेत. पण त्यांची धडपड सरकारच्या पाठबळाअभावी व्यर्थ जात आहे. तरीही लोकांत जागृती करण्याचे काम या संस्था करीत आहेत. अपघात टाळण्यासाठी सरकारने ठोस उपाययोजना हाती घेणे आवश्यक आहे. मात्र त्या पातळीवर सगळे आलबेलच आहे. कुठेतरी अपघाताचे मोठे प्रकरण घडले की सरकारला जाग येते. वाहतूक समस्येवर तोडगा निघूच शकणार नाही किंवा निघू शकत असेल तर तो काय असेल? अशा अनेक अंगांनी ओपन फोरममध्ये चर्चा करता येईल. याबाबत आपली मते नोंदवा...

First of all inorder to stop the accident in the state of goa the corruption should be stopped in the transport department,lot of accidents in the state occur at the mining area's. most of thr truck carry more than theyr allowed to carry by bribing the officials. government should make it compulsary to put up zeebra crossing in the cities in the state and should spread awarness among the people regarding zeebra crossing. speed brakers should be put up at major points such as schools, colleges, temples , towns etc.. we cant only blame the government,the young should see that they do not over speed the bike and hurt themselves and also hurt others.The youth should remember that SPEED THRILLS BUT KILLS .The transport department should see that license are issued properly to those only who have passed the test and not by taking money without test. people should make use of helmets while travelling specially on the highways. my appeal to the people and also to the governmnet officials please please follow the rules and regulations lets stop the accidents and save our brothers and sister,
Our Road network if u see is without planning.. Many places dead truns could be avoided..
Zebra crossing?? Is it really followed..Has anyone ever stopped looking at a pedastrian crossing on the zebra crossing?
Speed brakers can only stop motorcycles not todays cars.. Cars just go as if nothing existed on the road..
Helmets have become a source of income to the transport authorities.. Have you ever seen any traffic police spreading awareness about the use of helmets? But when ever one is caught.. "Tuka pachse rupya fine asa.. 100 di ata.. na zalyar licence dovar" this is what u hear!!..
Have U ever seen any government official car go slow?
Accidents cant be stopped.. Its on the person how one drives or rides!!
Even if one feels he has control on His/her bike, the other person may not!!
There are people who show right hand signal and go on the left hand side..
There are people who once they enter on the main road from any junction they are in a hurry to come on the left side..
These are common sights!!
Can one stop them..
Bribery is not the answer to the accidents.. Coz bribing is done "Off the Road".. "Accidents occur on the Road!!"
